News - Yemen: The Political Bureau of Ansarullah on Saturday strongly condemned the criminal escalation by the Israeli enemy after a deadly airstrike hit a residential area in Beirut’s southern suburb, marking another episode in year-long violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty since the last ceasefire.

In a statement, the group said the strike, which killed and wounded dozens, constitutes “a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and a flagrant challenge to international norms and conventions.”

The statement added that the attack is part of a wider record of Zionist war crimes and thousands of violations that have left more than 300 people dead over the past year, amid Lebanese government inaction and the failure of mediators — with “open American involvement.”

Political Bureau of Ansarallah criticized the growing political complicity aimed at promoting the disarmament of the resistance, saying such rhetoric “serves only to weaken Lebanon and undermine its security and stability,” which have long relied on the “Army-People-Resistance” formula.

The group renewed its call on Arab and Islamic governments to shoulder their religious and historic responsibilities in the face of “the open Zionist aggression targeting the entire nation.”

In conclusion, the statement reaffirmed solidarity with Lebanon — its state and its people — and emphasized “the legitimate right to resist and respond to aggression.”

The Zionist entity has launched a new act of aggression on a residential neighborhood in Lebanon's capital, Beirut, killing and injuring about two dozen civilians.

The Israeli regime's military said in a statement that its forces carried out a so-called precise strike in a residential apartment in Dahiyeh in the southern suburbs of Beirut on Sunday.

The aggression targeted residential areas, killing at least five people and injuring more than 20 people, Lebanon's Health Ministry said.
