News – Yemen: Armed tribal groups from the Zaraniq clans in Hodeidah held a large mobilization rally on Monday, declaring a state of full readiness and vowing to join military training programs in support of the Yemeni Armed Forces and to reinforce frontlines across various battlefields.

Participants stressed that Yemen—both its tribes and its army—will continue backing the Axis of Resistance by all available means, adding that attempts to subdue the Yemeni people through blockade and starvation will only strengthen their determination to resist global powers of hegemony.

The Zaraniq tribes affirmed that their declaration of general mobilization marks the beginning of an open escalation on the ground in support of frontline fighters and in rejection of foreign occupation projects targeting Yemen’s security, sovereignty, and independence.

In a closing statement, tribal leaders warned Saudi Arabia against continuing what they described as a suffocating blockade on the Yemeni people, calling it a direct implementation of US-Israeli plans designed to destabilize the wider region. They stressed that Yemeni tribes will not remain silent in the face of such aggressive policies.

The statement also condemned the assassination of senior Hezbollah commander Sayyed Abu Ali Haytham al-Tabatabai by the Israeli enemy, describing it as part of the ongoing campaign of Zionist crimes against the Palestinian people and the resistance in Gaza, and an escalation for which Washington, the Zionist entity, and their regional partners bear full responsibility.

Since the escalation of regional tensions following the Gaza war, Yemeni tribes—particularly in coastal and border regions—have increasingly organized armed rallies in response to the US-Saudi-Israeli agenda in the Red Sea. The Zaraniq tribes of Hodeidah have a long history of resisting foreign attempts to control Yemen’s western coast, viewing recent military and naval activities by the US and its allies as a direct threat to national sovereignty.
