News - Yemen: Aref Al-Amri, Secretary of the Southern Liberation Front, extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to His Eminence, the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badruddin Al-Houthi, and to all political, military, and popular leaders in Yemen on the anniversary of independence and the departure of the last British soldier from the homeland.

Al-Amri told Al-Masirah TV last night that the latest statement by the leader represents a clear roadmap for the coming phase, offering an in-depth reading of the course of aggression against Yemen and the region, and exposing the nature of the threats being orchestrated by Western powers through their tools, traitors, and agents.

He explained that today’s military mobilization and the political and media incitement by Western and regional regimes is a failed attempt to reproduce the old colonial era — a British-American-Zionist attempt to revive the past through proxies and hired factions.

Al-Amri added that the foolish enemy forgets that the Yemeni land has been impenetrable to invaders since the dawn of history. In the past, there was one colonizer; today, multiple Western flags march forward: “Now you see the Americans, French, and British trying to establish footholds in eastern and southern Yemen through armed factions and militias linked to each of these countries, in a clear race to seize Yemeni geography, plunder its wealth, and loot its resources.”

He stressed that all these moves, no matter how far they expand, are doomed to fail, because the Yemeni people — with their awareness, faith, and Quranic culture — are capable of thwarting any Western or regional scheme targeting Yemen’s sovereignty and unity.

He continued: “The enemy is foolish, this is a historical truth. They believe that technology, military arsenals, and media machines will grant them supremacy, but ignore that these tools have become exposed to us, and that our people have reached a level of awareness and strength that prepares them for every coming round.”

He noted that the internal front today is stronger than ever, thanks to continuous preparedness and mobilization under the leadership of the Revolution.

Al-Amri added: “We are today an unbreakable force, from faith and ideology, to culture and awareness, and extending to the military and diplomatic capabilities that have defeated all the bets of the Saudi-UAE aggression and the Western powers behind it.”

He stressed that liberation is a strategic, irreversible choice, and that any foreign presence in any inch of Yemen “will disappear, no matter how long it takes.”

The Southern Liberation Front is one of the political components aligned with the national position rejecting foreign presence and supporting Yemen’s liberation struggle. Its Secretary, Aref Al-Amri, is known for his frequent commentaries on developments related to foreign military presence, Western ambitions in Yemen, and the broader regional conflict.
