Almasirah net correspondent in Sa'adah said that one African migrant was wounded by Saudi fire near the Al Thabit area in the border district of Qatabir.
The incident follows a similar attack on Friday, in which a Yemeni civilian was killed and an African migrant and another civilian were injured by Saudi fire in the same province. Two more African migrants were also wounded on Thursday in Saudi attacks targeting the same border areas.
These incidents are part of a series of ongoing Saudi attacks on Yemen’s border regions, which have targeted civilian homes, roads, farms, and public spaces. Over recent months, the attacks have resulted in numerous deaths and injuries, amid what local sources describe as unjustified international silence and a growing Saudi tendency toward escalation.
Humanitarian and human rights organizations have previously called for independent international investigations into alleged Saudi crimes along the border. However, the repeated disregard of these calls has, according to observers, emboldened Saudi forces to continue their attacks without regard for international humanitarian law or civilian protection standards.
