According to the report, 25,717 martyrs reached hospitals during 2025 as a result of fire by the Israeli enemy, including more than 5,437 children and 2,475 women, in addition to 62,853 wounded. The office noted that over 3,400 people remain missing, their fate still unknown, including martyrs trapped beneath the rubble due to the enemy’s ongoing crimes.
The report indicated that children, women, and the elderly account for nearly 50 percent of the total number of martyrs. It also documented 475 martyrs who died from hunger and malnutrition as a result of Zionist starvation policies, including 165 children, as well as 23 martyrs killed due to incorrect aid airdrop operations.
The Media Office stated that 622 kidney patients out of 1,244 died because of the lack of food and medical care caused by the aggression and siege, representing 50 percent of all kidney patients. In addition, four martyrs died from severe cold in displacement camps during December, while 19 martyrs were killed when homes previously destroyed by the enemy collapsed amid weather depressions during 2025.
On the scale of destruction, the report affirmed that the Israeli enemy destroyed approximately 90 percent of the urban infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, occupied by military force around 55 percent of the Strip’s area, and dropped more than 112,000 tons of explosives during the year.
The report also documented the arrest of more than 2,700 civilians, the shutdown of 22 hospitals, attacks on 211 ambulances, and the destruction of 23 civil defense vehicles.
In the education sector, the Israeli enemy was reported to have targeted and killed 1,000 children, 88 teachers, and 45 academics and researchers, while 39 educational institutions were totally or partially destroyed and 95 percent of schools sustained damage. The enemy also completely destroyed 34 mosques, partially destroyed 100 mosques, and targeted 21 cemeteries out of 60.
The report further confirmed the complete destruction of 106,400 housing units, attacks on 87 shelter centers, the displacement of more than 213,000 families, and the prevention of the entry of over 132,000 aid and fuel trucks into the Gaza Strip.
It also revealed 2,605 martyrs and 19,124 wounded in what are known as US–Israeli “aid traps”, in addition to initial direct losses exceeding USD 33 billion across 15 vital sectors, as a result of the ongoing Zionist genocidal war throughout 2025.
Since the outbreak of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the territory has been subjected to an unprecedented campaign of mass killing, widespread destruction, and collective punishment, amid a suffocating blockade that has cut off food, medicine, fuel, and humanitarian aid.
The Israeli enemy has repeatedly targeted residential areas, hospitals, schools, shelters, and vital infrastructure, while enforcing policies of starvation and forced displacement against the civilian population.
International silence and continued political and military support for the Zionist entity have enabled the continuation of what Palestinian and international rights bodies describe as crimes of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and systematic violations of international humanitarian law.
