News - Yemen: Mohammed Abdulsalam, head of the National Delegation and official spokesperson for Ansarullah, stated that the Yemeni people, while supporting Gaza, have not forgotten their internal struggle and their rights following Saudi aggression and the ongoing blockade of Sana’a International Airport. He emphasized that “there is no justification for keeping Sana’a Airport closed to air traffic.”

In a post on X today, Abdulsalam expressed hope that the new year would bring “goodness, victory, and success for our dear Yemeni people, the Palestinian people, and the entire Islamic Ummah.”

He highlighted that after a year full of challenges and sacrifices, the Ummah faces further challenges and opportunities, particularly the Palestine front confronting the Israeli enemy on multiple fronts. 

He reaffirmed Yemen’s stance of steadfast confrontation, stressing that any weakness or submission before the Israeli enemy and the US represents a definitive loss in this world and the Hereafter.

Abdulsalam also denounced the blockade on Yemeni airports and ports, calling it collective punishment against the Yemeni people due to its severe humanitarian impact and its obstruction of political and humanitarian solutions.

He concluded that the end of the coalition, leaving Saudi Arabia alone at the forefront, marks a significant shift from the past year and confirms the failure of the bet on continued aggression and blockade, which will only result in further losses. 

He added that the new year presents an opportunity for those with insight to address the various issues arising from the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen over the past years.

The blockade of Yemen’s ports and airports, along with repeated Saudi-led military aggression, has caused widespread humanitarian crises and hindered international efforts to mediate peace. Analysts note that the current regional recalibration, marked by the coalition’s weakening and Saudi Arabia’s isolation, signals a shift in the strategic balance in Yemen. 

At the same time, support for the Palestinian resistance against the Israeli enemy remains a central rallying point for Yemeni political and popular mobilization, reinforcing the linkage between Yemen’s internal struggle and the broader regional confrontation with the Israeli enemy and its allies.
