News - Yemen: Local media sources in Yemen are reporting a serious escalation in the strategic Wadi Hadhramaut region, with airstrikes allegedly targeting a military site controlled by forces aligned with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to these reports, Saudi aircraft conducted seven airstrikes targeting the so-called "37th Brigade Camp" in the Al-Khash'ah area, leaving seven killed, amid tensions between the two Persian Gulf Arab nations. The site is described as being under the control of Emirati-backed forces. 

Analysts interpreting these reports view the incident as a dangerous manifestation of the deepening rift between Saudi and Emirati agendas within Yemen. The Wadi Hadhramaut region is of critical sensitivity due to its geography and resources, making any military escalation there a significant indicator of fraying alliances.
