News - Yemen: A young man was martyred on Wednesday after a mortar shell fired by the Saudi enemy army struck travelers in Sa'adah province, northern Yemen.

According to an Almasirah correspondent in Sa'adah, the mortar round hit travelers near the Al al-Sheikh area in the border district of Monabbih, resulting in the young man’s martyrdom. 

Earlier this week, several populated villages in the same district were subjected to Saudi enemy artillery shelling, as part of near-daily attacks on border regions.

Yemen’s northern border districts have for years been exposed to repeated artillery and missile attacks by the Saudi enemy, causing civilian casualties and widespread damage to public and private property. 

Local sources say the persistent shelling reflects a continued pattern of targeting border communities, despite repeated warnings about the humanitarian impact on civilians.
